Effective Date: November 6, 2026
Across America Financial Inc. (“Across America,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we may collect through acrossamerica.com (the “Site”), how we use and disclose it, and the choices and rights you may have.
The Site may offer user accounts, an email newsletter, and paid products or services processed through a third-party payment provider (Stripe). The Site does not offer financial products or services such as loans, insurance, or investment products, and does not provide financial advice. If the Site’s features or our information practices change, we will update this Policy as described below.
1. Information We May Collect
The information we collect depends on how you use the Site and the features available.
Information you provide
If you contact us or submit information through a form, we may collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, the contents of your message, and any other information you choose to provide.
Accounts. If you create an account, we collect the registration information you provide, such as your name, email address, and password (stored in secure form).
Newsletter. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address and use it to send you updates and communications. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
Payments. If you make a purchase through the Site, payments are processed by a third-party payment provider (Stripe). We receive information such as your name, email address, and billing details, and Stripe collects and processes your payment card information under its own privacy policy. We do not store your full payment card numbers on our systems.
Please do not send us Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or passwords through contact forms or email.
Information collected through Site use
When you visit the Site, we or our service providers may automatically collect certain technical and usage information, such as:
- IP address and general location derived from it;
- browser type, device type, operating system, and language;
- pages or features viewed, time spent on the Site, and referring pages;
- dates and times of visits; and
- interactions with Site content.
Cookies and similar technologies
The Site or its service providers may use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, understand Site usage, and improve performance. You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works.
If we use analytics or advertising technologies that are subject to a legally required opt-out, we will provide the applicable choices described in this Policy and on the Site.
2. How We Use Information
We may use information to:
- operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
- respond to questions and requests;
- create and manage your account;
- send newsletters and updates you have subscribed to;
- process payments and orders through our payment provider;
- understand Site traffic and usage;
- detect, prevent, and address security issues, fraud, or misuse;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements; and
- develop and, if launched, explain the Site’s planned financial-services marketplace features.
We do not provide financial advice, make financial decisions for you, or currently offer financial products or services through the Site.
3. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose information in these circumstances:
Service providers
We may disclose information to vendors that help us operate the Site and our business, such as hosting, analytics, security, communications, payment processing (including Stripe), and customer-support providers. These providers may use information only as permitted by their agreements with us and applicable law.
Financial partners
The Site may help visitors explore financial services offered by participating third-party providers. We do not offer financial products or services ourselves.
If you choose to be referred to a participating provider or partner, we may send your information to that provider or partner. We will do so only with your consent, after we identify the provider or partner and explain what information will be sent and why. The provider’s or partner’s own privacy policy and terms will apply to its handling of information after it receives it.
We may receive compensation when you are referred to a provider or partner or complete a transaction with them. See Sale and Sharing of Personal Information below for how this may relate to “sale” or “sharing” under certain privacy laws.
Other disclosures
We may disclose information if reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or in connection with a business transaction such as a merger, financing, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.
4. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information
We do not sell personal information for money. However, if you consent to a referral to a provider or partner and we receive compensation for the referral, that disclosure may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information under laws such as the CCPA, even though we are not selling your information for money in the ordinary sense.
Some privacy laws define “sale” or “sharing” broadly, including certain disclosures for targeted advertising, even when no money changes hands. If our practices involve a sale or sharing of personal information as defined by applicable law, we will provide the required notice and a way to opt out, including a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” choice where required. You may also contact us using the details in Contact Us.
5. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:
- know or request access to the personal information we collect, use, disclose, sell, or share about you;
- request a copy of certain personal information in a portable format;
- request that we correct inaccurate personal information;
- request that we delete personal information;
- opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, including sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising;
- limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information, where applicable; and
- not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.
California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (“CCPA”). These may include the rights listed above, subject to legal exceptions. The CCPA defines personal information, sale, and sharing in specific ways; those definitions may cover information or disclosures that are not commonly understood as personal information, a sale, or sharing.
How to submit a request
To make a privacy request, contact us at wesbynote@gmail.com.
Please describe the request and include enough information for us to locate and verify your information. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. If you use an authorized agent to submit a request, we may require proof of authorization and may ask you to verify your identity directly. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. If we deny a request, we will explain any appeal process available to you.
To opt out of sale or sharing, use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link or choice when available, or contact us using the details above. Where required by law, we will process recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, for the browser or device sending the signal.
6. Data Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to operate the Site, respond to you, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect our business. Retention periods depend on the type of information and the reason it was collected. We may retain information longer where required or permitted by law.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We cannot promise that information will never be accessed, disclosed, altered, or lost without authorization.
8. Children’s Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us at wesbynote@gmail.com so we can review and take appropriate steps. If we learn that we collected such information without legally required consent, we will delete it as required by law.
9. Third-Party Websites and Providers
The Site may link to third-party websites or services. We do not control their privacy practices and are not responsible for their content or handling of information. Review the privacy policy of any third party before providing information to it. When financial-provider offers become available, the provider—not Across America—will be responsible for its own products, services, application process, and privacy practices.
10. International Transfers
We or our service providers may process or store information in countries other than the country where you live. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from the laws where you live. Where required, we will use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Site, our practices, or applicable law. We will post the updated version on the Site and revise the Effective Date above. If a change requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it as required by law.
